Tenerife's mild and sunny year-round climate make it a golfer's dream destination and the island is home to a number of world-renowned golf courses.      In the South of the island there are two 18-hole, two 27-hole and two 9-hole courses. Golf Las Americas is eighteen holes situated in the heart of the tourist areas of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos. Next along is the beautiful set up of Los Palos a short nine hole par three course with driving range and practice areas, ideal for beginners or those of us needing to sharpen our short games! Amarilla Golf and Country Club 18 hole championship course plus nine hole pitch and putt. This is probably the most challenging course with every hole completely different to the next, the par three fifth across the sea has to be rated one of the best in the world. Neighbouring this is Golf del Sur 18 hole championship course plus 9 holes links type course. Coming soon is the new five star resort of Abama. There are two further courses in the north of the island so for visitors and residents alike there is plenty of choice.

     The property surrounding Golf Costa Adeje is amongst the most exclusive in Tenerife, with modern, luxury villas commanding a price of around E1,600,000.00. In nearby La Caleta, there is a wider range of property with prices starting at around E220,000.00 for a one-bed apartment. Golf Las Americas is situated beside a smart, modern apartment complex, where a one-bed fully furnished apartment, with the use of 2 complex pools, can be bought for around E160,000.00. Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf are both complete resort areas in themselves, having a mixture of new-build and older property, with prices starting at around E85,000.00 for a one-bed apartment.
